There is so much growth we experience in our teens, young adulthood, and adulthood, whether we are ready for it or not. I know how overwhelming it can be, especially with so many factors at play (culture, the sociopolitical climate, a neurodiverse brain!). As your therapist, I’m here to support you through all this.
I am someone who:
Works with neurodivergent, BIPOC, children of immigrants, & LGBTQ+ teens, young adults, adults, & those who are grieving
Is trauma informed, & community/justice oriented
Knows how the systems at play affect us daily & at a deeper unconscious level
Creates a safe space for you to explore the parts of your life that may feel too difficult to hold on your own
I have an eclectic approach to therapy, pulling from many theories and philosophies. How I work with each client is highly tailored to each individual: I meet you where you’re at. Together we figure out what you are needing and go from there. Click below to see how I work with different populations:
-
I work with LGBTQ+ and neurodiverse teens. I know that therapy can sometimes be awkward or nerve-wracking. In my sessions with you, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and building rapport, making sure you feel seen and heard. I use a combination of CBT, DBT, and mindfulness techniques. These theories and our work together will help you process your issues and develop healthy coping mechanisms for your anxiety and depressive symptoms.

I work with BIPOC, children of immigrants, Queer, and neurodiverse adults. My clients come in with a large ranges of topics to process, including: social/relational issues, existential thoughts, emotional dysregulation. Our first 1-2 sessions will be gathering information about what you are going through currently, your history, and your goals. I pull from the following theories to inform my work: Psychodynamic, Narrative, Somatic, Existential, DBT, CBT, Trauma-informed care.

I work with BIPOC and Queer couples. Couples come in with a range of topics they may need support with, including communication issues, boundaries, parenting issues, life transitions. I use a combination of Emotional Focused and Family Systems therapies. In our work together, we will process patterns that keep you “stuck” in conflict, you will gain a better understanding of each other, and we will work on developing techniques to improve your relationship.

I support teens and adults who are grieving. Bereavement is a life change, one that may also feel extremely lonely. I am here to guide you through this grief and meet you wherever you are in it.
If you want any of the following, then I am the therapist for you:
Work through your identity, relationships, life events, existential thoughts, &/or grief using talk therapy & body-centered approaches
Process life events, ideas, feelings with thought provoking questions
Support in navigating relationships & your inner world in any capacity
